This application is now deprecated and will no longer receive updates. We have developed a comprehensive new version from scratch, which includes an iPhone companion app as frequently requested by users. To transition, search for "Skydive Snitch" on the App Store to download the latest release.

This advanced jump tracking application offers a clean user interface and supports both skydive and wingsuit modes. It provides essential data regarding your jumps, such as:

 <li>Activity Rings Summary</li>
</ul>

Recognizing that access to your phone may be limited at the dropzone—particularly when wearing your jumpsuit—the application is designed as a standalone Apple Watch app. This allows you to record and review your jump data directly from your watch.

Begin recording prior to boarding and stop after landing. In settings, you can specify a dropzone location and altitude, which is useful for in-jump recordings or when landing points differ from entry points. You can pause, resume, or end your jump recording by scrolling down in the jump view or using the Digital Crown.

On Apple Watch Ultra models, you can assign actions to the Action button to quickly open the app or start recording a jump. To pause and resume during a session, press both the side button and Action button simultaneously.

The application logs each jump as a workout within the Fitness app, updating your health goals and Activity Rings accordingly. Additional health metrics, such as heart rate graphs, are accessible through the Health app. All related health and fitness data are integrated seamlessly for comprehensive tracking.

The app requires the barometric sensor for altitude measurement, available on Apple Watch Series 6 and newer models. If sensor accuracy is insufficient, altitude and speed readings will be prefixed with a tilde (~), indicating potential inaccuracies due to delayed updates. Compatible devices include:

 <li>Apple Watch SE (2nd Generation)</li>

 <li>Apple Watch Series 6</li>
</ul>

The app requires permissions for:

<ul>
 <li>HealthKit: to log workouts, access sensors, and read activity data</li>
 <li>Motion & Fitness: access to altimeter, G-force sensor, and barometric pressure</li>
 <li>Location: GPS tracking and heading information</li>
</ul>

This application is intended solely for licensed skydivers and should not replace certified equipment such as altimeters or rely solely on device data for safety decisions. Users must adhere to local regulations and consult with qualified instructors before use.

By default, only the most recent seven jumps are stored. The Skydive Snitch Pro subscription unlocks full jump history, access to new features—including editing or deleting entries via swipe gestures—and supports ongoing development and maintenance of this project.
